Three more states for our map

This is a beach on the Delaware Bay.

We ate dinner here one night in Delaware.  It reminded me of Joe's Crab Shack.

Our first view of the Statue of Liberty.

A view of NYC from the ferry to Lady Liberty.

Another view
A piece of the .Twin Towers at the ferry station

Ellis Island
The entrance.  We found a Rebecca Ammerman who came through there.

One of twelve pictures I took  of this icon.

This is at the FDR Library.

FDR's grave as well as Eleanor his wife.
Your dad in the rose garden that FDR played in as a child and he is buried here in the garden.
This is Val-Kill where Eleanor lived after FDR's death.

Can you believe it, this is her front door.  kind of humble.

More Val-Kill

Inside her house where she entertained Nahru, Kennedy, and Churchill.
Here is Val-Kill. Kill is the dutch name for river or stream.  FDR used to BBQ here and picnic.

This is a mosaic in the visitors center.

This is a stream up in the Catskills.

We drove in the Catskills today.  It's beautiful up there; so green.  We leave in the morning for Conn.  It's raining tonight, but it's suppose to be fairly clear tomorrow.  Not only did we get to put three more stickers on our map yestrday, we also visited another presidental library.  We've had a good time so far.
More later.  Love to all

Great pictures Mom, but you need to include a couple of face shots of you and Dad at these places too. ;-)

That estate may be humble, but I would love to live there. (Well, if it were picked up and moved somewhere less humid in the summer and cold in the winter).

NYC is on my list of places to go. There's so much there to see!
